Essential Oils & EMF Protection
In our current world, we are surrounded by electromagnetic fields from our devices, almost 24/7! And while this can definitely cause some health issues, essential oils can actually support the body in the face of EMFs! Check out some of these tips and tricks and add these oils to your daily routine.

BACKGROUND

Natural EMFs are beneficial and necessary to our existence – The earth's magnetic field, which causes the needle on a compass to point North, is one example of a naturally occurring EMF. The problem arises with the man-made electrical fields around each and every electronic device that powers our current world. These EMFs and our constant exposure to them are  what come with increased risk to our overall health.

Scientists aren't sure how EMF radiation damages cells. While there are lots of scientific studies, many only show problems when the radiation levels are so high most normal children and adults will never experience them. However, there are enough studies that haven't been conclusive (or that have indicated potential problems) that many health experts consider EMF radiation to be a concern. 

What is concerning is that “a review of more than two dozen studies on low-frequency EMFs suggests these energy fields may cause various neurological and psychiatric problems in people. ESSENTIAL OILS FOR EMF HARMONIZING

Essential oils  work with the body to reduce damage that EMFs can cause and also work to raise your body's own vibration (energy). These essential oils can support the body when exposed to EMF because of their potent antioxidant properties and ability to bolster the body on a cellular level! 

* Frankincense 

* Helichrysum

* Lavender

* Basil

* Cedarwood

* Idaho Blue Spruce (high frequency oil!)

* Rosemary

* Hyssop

* Chamomile

* Yarrow

DAILY HABITS WITH EMF HARMONIZING OILS

* Make this daily Harmonizing roller blend:

  * Add 2-3 drops of each oil to a 10mL roller bottle and fill with a carrier. Apply frequently for EMF protection.

* Drop oils onto the crown of the head, and/or apply to the back of the neck as desired.

* Diffuse! Combine any of the above oils and place with water in your diffuser. This is great to do while you sleep.

MORE WAYS TO OFFSET EMF EXPOSURE

* Turn off your WiFi router at night – use a timer to do this automatically. 

* Turn off electronic devices when you're not actively using them or place them in airplane mode.

* Utilize an EMF blocking laptop case and cell phone case (https://amzn.to/3MpMYta).

* Use an EMF blocking blanket (https://amzn.to/4e0MW6R) when using electronic devices, especially if you have a computer in your lap.

* Practice grounding daily. Spend time outside, barefoot in the grass or on the sand – even on the concrete!

* Instead of placing your phone up to your ear, talk on speaker phone whenever you can.

* Reduce the amount of time you carry your phone on you. Put your phone down.

That is a question that I see or hear frequently. Are you staying hydrated? Without thinking about it, it's easy to just assume we're fine. We drink something all day long - coffee, pop/soda, gatorade, milk, water, etc, etc, etc. But is that actually enough and are your beverages actually hydrating you? Maybe, maybe not.

Hydration is something we are focusing on this week in my Awaken To Possibilities group on Facebook and we are currently doing a 7-day hydration challenge. I'd love for you to join us! 

Your body is roughly 60 percent water––which is why it's so vital to your health and survival. Water, not soda or coffee. Water keeps your blood flowing, joints moving, and brain working. It also plays a big role in many things your body does, like carrying nutrients to cells, getting rid of waste, protecting your joints and organs, and maintaining your body temperature. I always know I need to up my water intake and maybe add some electrolytes when my joints start aching.
 
And that's not even the half of it!

If you’re like me, you like flavor. That's why I love finding and sharing ways to make water more enticing! Here are a few:🌺
 
🫧  Carbonate: Liven up your hydration routine with sparkling mineral water. Even betteradd a squeeze of juice from a favorite fruit or Vitality™ essential oil.
 
🍊 Infuse with fruit: Pop some fresh fruit into a cool glass of water. Berries and sliced citrus pair perfectly with H20.
 
❄️ Freeze: Freeze berries with water in an ice cube tray. These flavorful cubes brighten up plain water.
 
🌱 Spice it up with herbs: Level up the flavor by adding fresh herbs to your water. Mint leaves, ginger, lavender, and lemongrass are all excellent choices. I love using Vitality™ oils like Lemon and Peppermint because they last so long and provide great flavor!

Tips: Add a pinch of unrefined sea salt or Himalayan salt for electrolytes to improve hydration. It also helps to keep water with you! I love a fun water bottle I can carry easily. Any time I'm going somewhere, I always have a water bottle along, and I've taught my kids to do the same (so I recommend finding strong stainless-steel bottles that are easy to clean and wash frequently). Keep water handy always!

Are you in the “prevent getting it” mindset?  It might be time to think “What will I do WHEN I get it?”   Even better, “How can I support my body now, before I get it?”

  • Are you getting adequate sunshine and fresh air?
  • Do you drink plenty of clean, filtered and fluoride-free water?
  • How do you take care of your mental health?
  • Are you staying active?  
  • Do you take care of your gut health?  Your immune system depends on it!

  • Have you reduced the toxins in your home?  Artificial fragrance is in everything and is the absolute worst.  GET.IT.OUT.OF.YOUR.HOME!  Replace your scented candles, wax warmers, air fresheners, dryer sheets, scented fabric softeners, detergents and scented cleaning products. I have replaced all of the above with pure essential oils, plant-based cleaning products and clean, pure, safe self-care products.

  • Prayer & meditation to help manage stress.
  • Do you get plenty of rest?  Every body is different, but on average, 8 hours of sleep certainly helps you stay above the wellness line!  A cool dark room, no electronics for an hour before bed and a quiet, calm environment to set the stage before sleep is also helpful.
